Morgan Kinsey
Dance Instructor

Morgan Kinsey, a native of Welch, Oklahoma, has been dancing for eighteen years and brings a  wealth of experience in both performance and instruction. She trained for twelve years at Dance  Academy in Miami, Oklahoma, and continued her dance career as a member of the Norse Stars  
Dance Team at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College for three years, followed by three years on  the Pitt State Dance Team. She holds a Certificate in Dance from Pittsburg State University,  along with an Associate of Arts in Graphic Design, an Associate of Science in Natural Science, a  Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a Master of Science in Psychology with an emphasis on  Behavior Analysis.
Morgan has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, pom, jazz funk, and hip-hop,  specializing in teaching jazz, jazz funk, hip-hop, and pom. She has an impressive performance  background, including touring with DanZa Dance Competition & Intensive as an Instructional  Assistant and Backstage Manager in 2018 and 2019. She was also a member of the Chiefs Cheer  Training Team during the 2021-2022 season and is currently serving as an Assistant Coach for  the Pitt State Dance Team.
With twelve years of teaching experience, Morgan has worked with dancers ages eight to twenty two at all levels, from beginner to collegiate. She has choreographed for numerous cheer and  dance teams, including the Norse Stars and Pitt State Dance Team. Most notably, she  choreographed Pittsburg State University's fifth-place-winning Game Day routine at UDA  Nationals.
In addition to her work in dance, Morgan serves as an Academic Advisor at Pittsburg State  University and owns a small business specializing in wedding planning. Outside of dance, she  enjoys yoga, painting, and bird watching. She is passionate about connecting with people,  learning new things, and, of course, enjoying chips and queso.
